Great experience. It's a smaller size but you don't have to be large to be good. it seems to be very well run and very friendly. If you're in need of a General Automotive mechanic, alignment, or even a simple State inspection, recommend you give him a shot.

My daughter's tire blew out and this business charged me $150 hourly rate to change the right axle and lower control on her car which was made in 2007. Claimed it took over 8 hours. The total charges was close to the value of the car. The previous owners were my go to for state inspection and any other car needs for my daughter's car but the new ownership seems to inflate cost, time and I'm so saddened by this experience. I've never paid such a high hourly rate, not even at a premium car dealership. It's so shocking I had to leave a review. I even heard them quote a higher hourly rate to another person of color while I was in the waiting room.

In short summary: It's not worth the loss of an entire day for a state inspection they might try to scam you on... In long summary: As a woman, I'm constantly looking for car places where they don't scam or rip you off for services...this isn't one of those "safe" places. I headed to this location because it had a 4.6 out of 5 star rating and though there were a handful of negative reviews, I mistakenly thought that the good would outweigh the sporadic bad experiences, but as it turns out it was the negative reviews that were actually right this time. I went to Blake's auto for a state inspection, a simple taste I've had done on the same car over and over. It took THREE hours and there was only one car ahead of me when I arrived. Three hours for the mechanic to reject my car for allegedly a crack in the rear light casing and the front light bulb being "out of alignment"... something I've never heard of fail and inspection in the 17 years I've owned the car. When I took the car to another mechanic, he stated there was nothing wrong with my headlights and that the "crack" he was referring to at the rear shouldn't have caused a failing inspection... Nonetheless, doing my due diligenc
